SwiftKey - buggy as hell

I like SwiftKey in principle, it certainly massively speeds up typing. However I find it very buggy. Two maifind. amples:

1-the cursor randomly moves somewhere else and inserts what you are typing in the wrong place. I find that it happens on this forum a lot, especially when you are quoting someone else, it will jump into the quoted paragraph.

2 - it will insist on autocorrecting a word wrong, by taking off the final letter, eg correcting "final" to fina

Anyone else experiencing this?
Is there a fix?
Is there a non buggy equivalent app?
 
Sorry I can't help, but I just thought I'd say that I use Swype and number 1 happens to me a lot, and it's really annoying. Maybe it's something to do with the way these types of keyboards work?
 
As above i've been using it years and never experienced the issues you've described.

I'm not sure about your first issue, but your second issue sounds possible for predicted words, do you have predictive text on?
 
No, it will still be showing the correct word in the predictive text, but in the forum post it will complete the word without the final character. In the example I gave about to make it write "final" i cannot accept the prediction of final or it will autocorrect and remove the final character, I will have to edit the word so that it appears correctly to me as "final" but I will have to accept a mispel in the auto-correct of "finall".
How do I clear the cache? In app manager? I think I will try deleting and re-installing the app. Is there anything extra I should do to achieve a clean install.
