Finally made the change to Swiftkey. The amount of typing errors I make with Google keyboard is a joke.

At the minute I tap full stop once for a full stop, and hold full stop and slide to right for a question mark.

Can I make it so the question mark is one tap and full stop needs holding and sliding to the right? I rarely use full stops in SMS/Whatsapp but use question marks all the time.

Thanks.

Anyone else having issues with SK?

Was getting serious lag on the keyboard appearing and general slowness on my MotoG.

Uninstalled and its running like a dream.

It's not really on topic, but I'd love for Swiftkey to be available on Windows store, as the Windows 8.1 onscreen keyboard is just awful.

You can't just try a keyboard so quickly, every one is different and needs a few days to get accustomed to. SwiftKey is the best for me and the fact that it's always evolving based on what it learns from my typing habits and social app integration.

If you think swift key is good you should try Swype. It's predictions and 'learning' capacity is beyond any other keyboard I've used. I know swift key is free now, I had it when it was paid for, but it's still not a patch on Swype. I still try the others every so often, but keep going back.

I have Swype, I have them all and have used them all over the years with each major update. SwiftKey is the better keyboard for more things in general.

SwiftKey is missing a few features Swype has like cut/copy/paste but it's just faster for the way I type compared to Swype.

uninstall additional language packs if you have them.

running fine on my G, on custom rom/kernel tho.

Thanks for that - only had the US one installed but seems better now I've reinstalled.

- Edit - seems much better now. Thanks for the advice :)
