swifttech h220 or custom water loop kit

thanx for the reply avenged. i was just going off what I have read online. also I think id prefer to go for a coolant that wont need additives. would this coolant by mayhems be one of the ones that wouldn't need any additives http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-034-MH&groupid=962&catid=1531&subcat=2414 thanx

Yes you are correct.

is there much difference between the EK-Supreme LTX - Acetal+Nickel CSQ http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-309-EK
and any of the cpu blocks that have been mentioned on this thread thanx

Personally I would stick to the one specced above. LT means lite and the X means the better version of the lite :)

The other difference is the materials. The supremacy is acetal whereas the LTX is nickel + acetal. Most people tend to choose the block according to GPU waterblock. But I wouldn't worry about it too much it is more of an aesthetic thing.

ok thanx skylineboy i was just wondering what the differences are with them as im seeing different prices for products that look the same and/or have a similar name. I am watching a youtube video online where they are saying to just used distilled water from a supermarket and pt nuke instead of using a special coolant is that safe or not? thanx again

It works out the same in price rougsly and pre mix coolant has never failed me. would rather use mayhems.

As for block differences, the supreme is entry level and supremacy high end in terms of performance and cost. grab the supremacy as its universal and you will never feel the need to upgrade it.

thanx for the reply avenged i will be using the mayhems it was just a question becasue i was watching a videoabout it all. also the cpu block i will i was just wondering what the performance difference was as if it was only a few degrees i would be tempted with the cheaper one as when i come to upgrade my pc unless something gos catasrophically wrong it wont be for atleast another 3/4years which means i would be looknig to replace most the parts on my watercooling anyhow :D

once you get going with watercooling you will be trying to reduce by a few degrees as much as possible! - Trust me :) Go with the supremacy ;)
