Switch User

So, i have boinc running, and i like to leave it running when i leave my pc, however i don't want others to use my user account, so normally i would switch user, and it would work fine, but just recently every now and again, it will loose connection to the internet, and restart all the programs in my system tray next to the time and date.

Any ideas to what it might be, and any solutions?

Why don't you just lock the workstation?

i don't like to lock out my other family from the use of my pc! I might waste my dads electricity bill leaving on the pc practically 24/7 but im not a complete arse

Sorry, I totally misread your post.

Have you looked in the event viewer to see if any services have stopped or anything?

event viewer? can you get to that on the login page?

Open all users
Programs
Administrative tools
Event Viewer

OR right lick my computer
Manage
Event viewer
