Hello,

Been a mac user for many a moon. Just built my first pc a couple of weeks ago and I'm really regretting it. The gaming aspect of a pc is great, but I tend to stay more on the ps3.
I'm really missing the apps I used on osx and my productivity is the lowest it's been for a while.
What to do fellas? Shall I sell my newly built pc for cash towards a pro? Would you sell the full system, or break it up? Where can I sell it?
The missus won't agree to me buying a mac pro until the pc is gone!

Welcome to the club.

Sell it in parts - if you sell it as a whole you'll get nothing but trouble should any minor thing go wrong or a cable goes loose.

I've just installed Vista on my MBP so I can game on it. It's horrible compared to OSX. If I didn't need it to play games with I would uninstall it now.

In fact I'm quite tempted to uninstall it and stick it in MM - I didn't put in the licence code or do online activation yet so it should be fine for someone else to use.

I just cant bring myself to condemn all of the games I've bought through Steam to the big server in the sky.

Panzer

If Vista wasn't such a nagging b**** I could maybe live with it (can be disabled at the cost of security I know:P). It's like having my girlfriend inside my computer.

I'm actually going the other way to you, I got a new Mac Pro and installed Vista on it.. and I've been using it for a while now for apps that are not available on OS X... and I don't really want to go back to OS X!.. Am I first to say they are going back to Windows and quite enjoying it?!?!?

Blasphemy!

I know, I know, I had to think a few times before posting that, but... I like Windows! I always have (grown up with it), but don;t get me wrong, OS X RULES too... if I could run all the apps I have on Windows on OS X (natively) then I would be there!

Also, Leopard has a serious VPN issue preventing me from using it, I need VPN!

I'm sure I'll be back to OS X soon!
