Ok I want to get this installed on my imac, can I just cope the folder over from my windows machine or do I have to do something else?

And if I can copy it, where do I put it :o

I have seen that there is a client download on the wow-europe site, does that have all 3 clients in it?

Thanks,

What? Are you referring to World of Warcraft?

If so, you'll need to buy a Mac specific version unless you have a universal CD that has the Windows & Mac installer on it.

You cannot simply copy a folder across from your Windows machine, the Mac doesn't use .EXE files. However, If you were coming from another Mac it would simply involve copying the Application to the "Applications" folder in the user directory.

Cannot comment further as I don't have any experience with the installer.

The CD is universal from what I remember, but it'll be an old version. Data files are common from what my WOW playing work colleague tells me.

WoW disc are bi-lingual.

"World of Warcraft" is a cross-platform program. The official installation discs can be used on both Macs and PCs, while copies downloaded from Blizzard's website can be downloaded in both Mac and Windows formats.

Blizzard have always been superb for this, even going back to Starcraft days their disks were multi-platform :)

Most developers could learn a lot from this ethos ;)

Blizzard's CDs are supposed to all be Mac and PC compatible... Except they had a load of WC3 CDs pressed without the Mac stuff going on, and I managed to buy one of them so ended up torrenting it for the Mac! Rubbish.
