Switching from Mayhems X1 to Pastel

Hi

I'm currently running Mayhem's clear X1 Coolant (pre mix) do i really need to use a Blitz kit before switching to one of their pre mix pastel coolants?

Would a flush with de ionized water do the trick? I would imagine the biocides and Corrosion & Scale Inhibitors would be very similar in these two products so shouldn't react and i don't have any other dyes in my loop that would stain the pastel colour?

I've switched before and it was fine.

Just like you say, rinse with plenty of DI until the loop runs clear. Then drain as much as you can and add the pastel.

Any left over water will just mix with the pastel to no effect as it will be such a minor amount.

I used normal distilled for a flush between changing Mayhems fluids and it's been fine since.

Ill be using all new tubing as well when i rebuild my loop should also help prevent any contamination

Its the rads you have to watch out for , they are what hold all the "water"

Just keep flushing until 100% clear and you should be ok
