Switching SSDs driver question

So I'm about to order a new (bigger) SSD for an old system that I just put Windows 7 on only the other week (it had been running linux). I'm no fan of cloning drives or using software to back up drivers for me, but I am a bit lazy. I'll happily chuck a windows cd in the drive but chasing drivers on a system that was freshly installed with clean Windows & the latest drivers one week ago is a drag. Is copying the Drivers & DRV_STORE folders in c:\windows32\ still acceptable? It's ages since I've done this.
