Contemplating a big upgrade to my rig. Keep toying with the idea, but I've been looking at the weekly deals.

Would this motherboard work ok?

I may be tired, but I couldn't see a difference between the above and this. The only thing I can see is that the LX2 has DVI output? Which I don't use anyway.

I'm contemplating one of those boards, probably the cheaper one with an i5-3570k which for a grand total of £230 would be a good upgrade I think over my 1055t Phenom II ?

Everything else in my sig I can reuse. Thoughts on my upgrade plan as likely picking up tomorrow and would I be ok with the board? Am I missing something terribly important or is there a cheaper board that does the same job?

Also this may be a silly question but quite awhile since I bought a CPU. What will be different in terms of what I receive when buying OEM vs Retail for the 3570k as a further £5 difference between the two?

If it was me i would be waiting for Haswell and the new socket in Q2. Your rig is still very good.

OEM is just the cpu and 1 year warranty. Retail is the cpu, cooler and 3 year warranty.
