swopping to a ssd

Hi all. I know the very basics in pc's.
My question is. How easy is it to swop my 1tb hdd to a ssd. I run windows 7 on the pc. Can i use the image back up on the pc then just take out my hdd and install a ssd?

You do know SSDs are small, right? You'll want both drives. One for speed, one for storage. You'll want to do a clean install of windows 7 onto the SSD, resinstall your programs putting the ones you use most on there, then stick your files and the other programs on the HDD.
