Hi guys, im just starting a collection of replica movie swords. I was just wondering if any of you had done so, or if you have a collection of swords and if you have any tips. I want to get swords from kill bill, blade, the green destiny from crouching tiger and lord of the rings.

Blades-UK... they are far cheaper than other places on the internet for genuine LOTR replicas. They also do many other nice swords too. Always had excellent service from them.

yeah i was looking at them, they seem good. also been looking around ebay but you have to be careful with fakes.

Just noticed they have taken off the last samurai movie sword

could probably get it on order though

Theres some places in the US that will import pretty cheaply although I am unsure of the quality, I might order a cheap sword and see what it is like.

yeah the thing is i do want quality items and i dont mind the cost as it is going to be a proper collection not just 1 or 2 knocking about. i think i will order from the uk, probably from blades-uk.

Not movie replicas, but we have several religions kirpans (swords) all around the house.

They are all in decorative sheaths, our axe is just ugly, raw, sharp brutality though

You can't call a Samurai sword a Samurai sword if it doesn't come with the short blade.

That's actually my favouite sword in LOTR...I don't want Arragon's or Gandalf, i want that one.

Hadhafang is about £140 - £150 at most stores I think for an offical copy. You might get it a bit cheaper if you shop around, though if it was much cheaper I would be a bit suspicious.
