SX38P2 PRO - ETA anyone ?

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Overclockers.

After being severely disappointed by a rival site, Overclockers came through for me and guaranteed delivery of the SX38P2 Pro tomorrow morning... 20 minutes after I called to place my order.

If that isn't excellent service, I don't know what is. Thank you for understanding how to manage your orders in an effective and systematic way.

Unlike unmentionable others...

Arrived! Excellent timing!

Shame I'm at work... I've brought all the bits with me to build afterwards :)

Thought that might be the case! How many did you have in total?

I'd be quite interested to know that too, if you're able to disclose that information. Might help me in the complaint I'm writing to the site that let me down.

If this letter is going to a certain retailer named K******T, any chance you could get in touch with me about the details? I've got beef with them too; they've got my SP35P2 RMA'd at the moment, but they're taking their sweet time over sorting it out, and i want my money back.

Perhaps a second complaint from me might get them taking more notice?

Also, mine came at 9:30 this morning (though citylink delivered to the wrong house!). I noticed the news item went up yesterday at 9:43, so I must've got lucky when refreshing the page as my order time is also 9:43! Wonder If I got the first officially UK-supplied one? :D

Thanks again Si.

Nope. Don't know if you'll get the name if I star out the letters except for the first and last. I'll be cryptic...

Imagine you had one eye.

Then imagine you had a couple of Nintendo's previous console before the Wii... minus "Game".

Posting on the Shuttle btw! It's very nice =)

So those lucky few, what's the noise levels like under load? A problem with some of the older models was the obvious lack of room inside the chassis, and the 8800's and the like. Things got very toasty as you can imagine and the noise levels crept up.

mine arrives tomorrow matey will let you know :)

Very, very interested in your thoughts on the SX38P2, reviews of the case are very sparse.
The one thing I have heard in a few places is that the PSU fan is ridiculously loud, but I've also heard this may have been a faulty batch and not a general problem.

I'm looking to get one in May, but would buy sooner if I could find them in stock, and if I could find trusted reviews of them.

Mines going back, Its noisy, was frying my ram (never have I ever touched ram as hot) and you cant use a sata optical when using a raid setup, all in all i wasnt that impressed, you can buy mine lol!

What are the main differences between this and the SN35P2? I've looked around, but the only difference seems to be the mobo chipset?

ive sent mine back as I wasnt happy with the noise or the fact you cant use raid and a sata optical, i did get some pics of it which I can post if anyone would like

Dang, well that pretty much counts out the Shuttle among my limited choices, I'm still interested in pics though.

Looks like I'm going with a sugo, which is a shame as I was looking forward to the easy build the shuttle offers.
