I'm NO expert at all when it comes to servers, but would really appreciate some help on what I hope is a simple solution.
Got a Windows2003 server which has Symantec Backup Exec running, full daily backups, Monday to Friday.
What I'd like to know is two things:
1) The backups run at 21:00 each day, when I get into work next morning I have to insert the previous days backup for it to be verified, then it spits it out and asks for the "Next Media". Is there a setting somewhere that backs up and verifies in one go without spitting out the tape?
2) There's a dialog box that says "Insert Next Writable Media" (or words to that effect). Is there a way of either a) changing this to read something like "[day] backed up, insert tape labelled [next day]"?
