To be honest there's nothing about it that really excites me about it. If this were two or three years ago then it would have been brilliant but there's nothing really new about it and there's nothing for me that sets it apart from the crowd.

Symbian still looks like Symbian i.e quite boring, they coulda tarted it up a bit and make it look nice like Android and IOS. When are Nokia gonna get with the ball game, really..

I think Nokia are fighting a losing battle tbh they used to be market leaders but now Android and iOS look miles ahead, i think Nokia should realistically adopt Android

No, it looks rubbish.

I mean come on, its the Nokia website, they are hardly going to make it look naff are they?

I quite like the look of that. the only things I'm not sure about: The camera lens pretrudes and doesn't have a cover. You usually have one or the other. How ever gently you place it down on a surface, you are hitting the lens first. the other is that the OS doesn't seem that quick at times but that might be fixed before it's released.

It's about time Nokia got rid of that HORRIFIC font. Every time I see it I remember just how uninterested I am in Nokia products.

12MB camera is amazing.

I just cant see how anyone thinks Symbian 3 looks good. Especially if you have used

Android, IOS and webos,

OP have you ever used the above?

They'll come around to the idea soon unless they want to go bust.

That, or start Symbian again and actually make it competitive with Android and iOS.

Did they ditch Maemo? I thought that had some potential.

Nokia still have the largest market share though, don't see them going bust just yet!

If i recall from looking on youtube videos about it the phone has a automatic shutter on the camera.

Yes they have ditched Maemo for MeeGo, which is the new Symbian of sorts.

I have got an N900, its a decent enough phone but when you have about 80 apps to pick from and 90% of them are absolute garbage stuff most people would never use its pretty boring.

What I will say is the camera on it is very nice, as is the web browsing experience. The good ends there though unfortunately.

Also, I wouldn't take the sample shots from a Nokia website for granted.

MeeGo is essentially Maemo 6. Same OS, different name.

And Nokia will never release an Android phone. Being reliant on one of your biggest competitors simply isn't good business sense. The top three phone manufacturers in terms of profit are Apple, RIM and Nokia. What do they have in common? They all own the operating system that their smartphones use. That's no coincidence.

posted about it here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18151592

Will be my next phone. I like that its got:

-capacitative screen with gorilla glass (3.5")
-Native support for divx, xvid, mkv, wmv and 720p video playback
-1/1.83 inch 12mp camera sensor (bigger than most normal cameras)
-The camera lens is toughened and indented to the doesnt make any contact when you put it on a surface
