sync iphone apps with ipad?

I won an ipad in our xmas raffle

and have set it up on my itunes account but I can't work out how to sync the apps I have on my phone to the ipad?

can someone give me a pointer please?

Should just be a case of going to the Apps section under the iPad in iTunes and then enabling the sync and optionally selecting which apps you want on the iPad.

Alternatively, if you go to the App Store app on the iPad and select the Purchased tab, any apps you've purchased or installed on the iPhone should be available to download to the iPad from the cloud.

thanks.....I just found it when your post came through. bit new to all this! :-/

starting to realise that not all apps are compatible anyway so downloading the ipad versions of the ones I use regular

Yeah the iPad will run most iPhone-only apps but it'll be in a small window or you can pixel-double it up to a larger size.

A lot of apps with a dedicated iPad version include both for the one-off price but sometimes you have to buy it again for the iPad which is a bit of a pain.
