Sync with Synkron

Hey,
I have my desktop and netbook and wish to sync wome folders across. Can I just hook an ethernet cable from the desktop to the netbook and use that?

If so how do I set up the sync in Synkron. I with to use Synkron as I also use that for other things as well

if you link directly from pc to pc you need a different type of cable called a crossover cable

if you have internet via a router that has a hub, you can link the two via the hub with normal ethernet cables

or if the laptop is wireless you can make a network that way to copy files across

if they are both on the internet you can sync them via the internet, depending on how large the files are that you want to sync.
