Yes, you can. Make sure both have a Static IP on the same subnet.

This is IMHO the best network storage solution for the money at the moment. My DS207+ is still going strong. Synology support is also amazing. I bought the 207 over four years ago and it is still fully supported and running the latest firmware plus applications etc. which is exemplary.

I expanded the Synology range from around 5 products to the 11 products around 10-12 days ago.

The range was somewhat lacking, however it's much better now.
