Synology DS218j + Seagate IronWolf

Hi

Looking for a good NAS and drive combo simply for local back up and potentially offloading to Cloud.

What's peoples thoughts?

I’ve just upgraded from an 8TB Barracuda to a Seagate Ironwolf 10TB. It’s quiet and very well built. Also built for significant NAS workloads, so probably not a bad choice.

THanks for the response - I went for the DS220+ and IronWolf drive, very pleased!

Sorry there as only one response man, guess this is a quiet sub-forum. But glad you're pleased. The Ironwolf is definitely a beast of a drive
