Synology Remote Access Support Experiences

I've got a synology NAS box, but having an issue with one of the packages. I've raised a support query, but they now want remote access to the NAS device which makes me nervous given i've got data on there (mainly just documents/scans etc.). Am I being paranoid by not wanting to do this and thinking they should be able to diagnose via system logs (which i've given them)?
 
I dont think you should be very worried, doubt they will be on long enough to snoop all your data.

why dont you ask them what they plan to do when they remote it? maybe they are looking for a particular "issue" that you can confirm for them or they may want to run somethign that you can do for them if you are worried.
