Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM
Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit
Asus Z97 Pro Gamer Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Raijintek Triton AIO Water Cooling Solution
Noctua NT-H1 Thermalpaste (2.5g)

Can't get any lower than £571 and it needs to be liquid cooling + I7 + 16gb memory

Already have the case, gpu and psu, keyboard, monitor...

Save some money on lower speed ram, 1866?

Hi Glanza, what if I want to overclock the i7 to about 4.6 etc would that be an issue?

Which ram would you recommend?

Although saying that, it isn't on my i5 and that's doing 4.7

What about getting a used 2600k, 2700k or 3770k and a new RAM kit? These CPUs are within a few percent of the Haswell equivalents when clocked and the 2600k/2700k can clock higher than the Haswell 4770k/4790k

I'd get the retail version of the CPU if I was you for the 3 year warranty, also I'd get the core version of the triton, then order some decent fans myself

Is this a upgrade from your 2500k? If so you should have waited for Skylake as Haswell isn't a big enough step up in performance to justify the cost.

Spoke to John of Sales and the Asus board does not fit the cooler! Thankfully I have sorted out a change of order and he's exchanged it to a MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Intel Z97

So beware everyone of that board and cooler :(
