Hello,

I am looking to build a new gaming system, and I would like the following specs.

*Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40 GHz
*Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16GB
*Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX570
*Mother Board: ASUS P8P67 EVO
*Power Supply: Corsair 750 Watt
*Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB 7200 RPM (x2)

I work out of a recording studio, and require the PC to be as silent as possible, and therefore I need a silent PC case and other silent components.
I have absolutely no experience of building a system, and no idea where the best places are to search for the hardware I require and what the best prices are. It would be fantastic if I could just send this spec to overclockers and say: Build this for me please xD

How much in total should I be expected to pay for all of that hardware if I were to build it myself.

What is your budget? There's a few changes I'd make to that, mainly you want a Z68 board now, it's better than P67 and newer :)

... you can!

Also, what do you use the PC for? Just for recording? Any reason for 2x1TB drives not one 2TB?

I am not restricted financially. I would prefer if it could be done for as cheap as possible.
If you could tell me all the changes, and expain why and link that would be perfect.

For gaming a i5 2500K is as fast as a i7 2600K - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/288?vs=287

The Fractal case has sound deadening fitted to the panels.

The motherboard will accept a Ivybridge CPU and does Crossfire/SLI.
