Hi,
I was just checking out some stuff on my system with Belarc Advisor and noticed something that sort of confused me...

Processor a &nbsp Main Circuit Board b
2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

&nbsp Board: nVidia-nForce
Bus Clock: 200 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 07/28/2004

I "thought" I had my system (for the past few years) running at 400MHz Bus speed. This is what my memory and CPU run at... maybe I'm overtierd and asking something stupid... Is the CPU/Memory Bus speed independant of the system Bus? It's been a while since I did this at school :p
Thanks!

Simple really, your system bus runs at 200MHz, but your RAM is DDR (Dual-Data-Rate) and thus runs at twice that speed

Well the cpu and RAM bus are 200MHz/400DDR, i.e not only the memory, the K7s bus was always double pumped, even when it used SDR memory.
