Hi,

Need a quick system check if possible

Already owned.

2* 1tb samsung drives
5870 graphics
cd drive
SSD
600t case

Will need
New MoBo
New PSU (i5 for gaming but I do some programming)
New RAM
New PSU
New CPU fan

Also, will want to be able to overclock this thing to around 4.60

Budget is 500 but would rather not have to spent that, that being said, will go over if there is a deal to be had.

Will need to be ivybridge compatible. ( I was planning to wait but my ageing rigs Mobo has died and will need urgent replacement)

When is the last time I can order on OCUK for next day UK mainland delivery?

Your urgent assistance is appreciated!

Stuart

rjc's spec looks good enough, as its under the £500 maybe go for 8gb of ram, but no real need to unless the programming might take in virtual environments etc that might find it useful.

is it just the mobo thats dead, have you thought of just replacing that ?

What timing is that RAM? Also, will the Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Revision 2 Socket 775, AM2, AM2+, 939, 1156,1155, 1366 Cooler be ok with this setup? Lastly is that PSU enough? If I wanted to play safe and get a 750W, what would you recommend?
