System Checking Software?

hi,
anyone know any software that you can use to check for things like system stability/compatibility, errors, check if it's all running how it should be.

I use CCleaner and NCleaner to check for registry errors and general crap that doesnt need to be there.

Those arent really system "checkers".

Im not too sure of a specific piece of software that would do what you are asking... there are a few stability test apps, but they are more designed to check your pc is working fine after youve overclocked it.

I used to use Nortons System Utilitys software checks everything HD ,reg stabilty etc.

nothing really exists..

there's memtest, and hard drive manufacturer testing tools

and registry cleaners
