System clock keeps going forward

Hi,

I have a very strange problem with a computer I am currently using. When I shut down the computer at night, the clock keeps going forward - yes FORWARD!

I have replaced the CMOS battery etc.

A very stange problem!

Any ideas

Is The Computer On A Network

Could Be The Windows Time Services Auto Syncing... Just Disable It

If Not

Could Be A SPyware Problem, Run The Usual Detection & Recovery Tools

How much does it go forward each time?
Could it be in incorrect International time zone seting ?

This happened to me a few weeks ago. The clock went forward 20 minutes :confused:

This ia a freshly formatted system, with all the latest Windows updates etc.

The longer you leave the computer powered off, the further in time it becomes. !!!

Sound like a dodgy RTC on the board.
I'd change the battery a second time anyway, just to be sure.

Mightn't do any harm to flash the BIOS to the latest version.
