System died, bought new parts today at OC died again

It doesn't even post bios guys, so can't change any setting, xmp wasn't enabled though

you say it wont post, have a look in the manual and see if the mobo has post code readout or a set of led's you can see.

if the board gets stuck it will show either via the led's or the post code readout, it could be the cpu, ram or vga which is the problem

EDIT:
page 29 in the manual has the boot led's, start the pc up and see which led it gets stuck on

So I narrowed it down to the psu

Got a new one this morning

PC has been running all day without issue

Then I rebooted to update bios and bang

Exacly the same issue again, no signal or power to the keyboard it stream deck

No lights on the 4 leds that highlight issues per the last post

AND the pc once again won't post bios

About the end of my tether now lol

have you tried just two sticks of ram? if not give it a go and install in slot 2 and 4, encoriging to see the rgb lighs on, if the board was dead they wouldnt work

The led do light up, like a car once it powers on but then drops off as it powers up

Yeah it can't be the board as this is the sake issue I was having with a different cpu and diffrsct board, I'll try the ram. Now

Tried all 4 sticks at once

Exacly the same issue per the prior hardwear

Can this be caused by the ssd with windows on it? But then it'd post bios wouldn't it?

its narrowing down slowly, the only things that havent been looked at are the ram or the gpu, worth checking the standoffs under the board make sure your board is screwed in too your picture shows a screw missing look at CORE BOOST and just above a screw should be there to hold the board in :).
also double check that the standoffs are in the correct places a short can be very costly.

just to rule it out you could check the cpu is installed correctly and check for damaged pins just in case, very unlikley as you say it got into windows in prevoius posts, just trying every eventuallity to be sure

did you try 2 sticks? the ssd wouldnt be the problem as it seems to be a power issue before the post stage.

try diffrent combos of ram but only 2 sticks just to rule out dud ram

The board is on the stand offs, I just lost a screw in question lol

I did try 2x 2 as well as 4x 1 ram yes.

The GFX was tested and seemed fine in my other machine

Just to add, in the pervious config, the board has a 7700k with IGP

After if removed the 1080ti I attempted to boot using the IGP and again couldn't get it to POST either

hmm in that case take out the cpu and inspect for damage, check for damaged pins or pin covered in tim, carefully re bend back and clean any thing from them and reinstall the cpu and try again, failing this you'll need to take out the guts of your pc and run as a test bed system on the mobo box.

its rare but i have heard that case fans can cause power issues so you could disconnct all fans and see what happens

edit:

do you have the eps 8 pin plugged in for the cpu? try plugging in the 4pin eps too?

The cpu can't be at fault

Because

This is the same problem I was having with a different cpu and board

I do have rgb fans from ennermax though
