system disk?

so i got a new computer set it up when i boot it comes up with insert system disk. i have tried the motherboard disk and windows 7 install but its still not working. help

check the BIOS to make sure the settings are correct to detect a sata driver or what ever you are using.

Try unplugging anything you have plugged in via USB & then boot up.

recheck bios, boot priority,as long as everythin is plugged in,hdd issue for sure

i fixed it the jumpers on the hard drive where out in correcty some time its just the little things.
