Thank you for your reply.
Ok will do!

Got another question if you can help?

My case is a Corsair Obsidian 1000D.
8 x EK Vardar S 120er D-RGB fans on the front slide out panel.
On the top slide out panel, an EK CE420 radiator with 3 x EK Vardar EVO 140er D-RGB fans, (intending to get 3 more to push pull)

What I would like help with is, which direction the fans should run to operate as efficiently as possible?

Any help given, very gratefully received.

thanks.

Push pull is not worth it tbh, top heat rises in the case so psh out, front always pull fresh air in.

Front pulling would be better, top pushing.
The 8 front ones pulling air into case, the 3 top ones pushing heat out, which side of the radiator?
My case also has space for rear fans, I haven't tried to put 2 x 140s in yet, & have read you cant actually fit 2 there anyway, but if you can, which way for those pushing out or pulling in?

Front on the inside as it will pull cold air in, top rad fan on case pulling the heat out and the rear pushing air out.

Tests have shown little to no cooling difference between push and pull. So the choice should be based on operational parameters not cooling ones.

Are the fans RGB and do you want the light visible on the inside of the case or the outside? I personally put front RGB fans on the outside.

Are the rads protected by good filters? If yes, then the fan orientation doesn't need to factor in hygiene. If no, having the fans pulling makes it much easier to clean the rad. If push and unfiltered you will get heavy dust build up between the fans and radiators that makes cleaning the rad awkward.

Hi,
Thanks for our answers,
All fans either are RGB, or will be if I need more.
My front fans will be visible through the glass front, there is no radiator on the front.
The top section (where my radiator is) I think I'd prefer the light inside the case rather than through the top, in which case I need to reverse that again,
As for filters, only the inbuilt one that corsair supply with the obsidian 1000D.

Thanks
