Hello, Back again.

I've had some previous issues with one of my GPU's but thats now sorted.

My Specs:

i7 2600k
8gb Corsair Vengence
1000w Corsair PSU
Msi GTX 570 Twin Frozr
120GB OCR SSD
Sabertooth P67

Basically The cables inside my case were atrocious so I took everything out and re did it.

Put all the components back in and the system powers on, there is no beep of any kind from the internal speaker (I've checked the connection) and there is no light next to the RAM.

I've pressed the memtest button next to the RAM and it's started flashing and thats all that happens.

I've checked all my connections and they all appear to be fine.

I've reset the CMOS

I'm guessing from the manual that this would mean there is a problem with the RAM? Its been working fine over the past week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tom

You definitely got the 8pin ATX plugged in?

Try one RAM stick at a time in different slots.

Definitely got all the PSU connectors in, as its a modular I left all the cables that were in before I took everything out in and I have no spares so I'm sure I've put them all back in, Just tryed all the combinations of ram in different slots I could and still no joy :/

Also the red CPU light Is a solid red, is this a bad indication? I can't quite work out from the manual what it means.

I hate trying to fault find on a forum, I dont know what a solid red light would indicate, my only other suggestion is to pull the CPU out and re-seat it.

I've reseated it and it's still doing the same, the last thing I'm going to do is disconnect everything except the fans and see what happens, if it's still like this tomorrow would it be best to RMA it straight away or take it to a local computer shop?

Sending items back costs money for postage so weigh up the options against local support.

How far from WSM are you? lol, I got similar parts.

At this rate I'm just gunna send the whole thing back! It's caused me nothing but problems...Also what is WSM?
