Hey all, new to forum so wasn't sure where to put this thread, thought main section is best for now.

Anyway, the problem is that since installed my new side fans using a molex to 3pin adapter, I plugged the back fan into the mobo, now I get a message everytime on boot saying "System Fan Error"

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the message? (other than me plugging side fan into mobo, which makes opening the case difficult)

Just incase you need to know: Back fan is coolermaster 120mm (came with 334U case), side fans are sharkoon 140mm

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

If you pop into the BIOS there should be a option to disable fan montioring on certain ports.

Do this and hopefully it should stop the error, you did not mention the motherboard your using?

Ah, Hence why there is no option to disable the message, only way is either plugging fan into the connector like you mention or does any of the fans have a spare lead which give the rpm output.
