System Information on little TFT

One of the Asus P5 mobo's has a small TFT that displays system information etc. What I am interested in doing is a using the second output oof my 8800 to drive an 8" 800x600 TFT mounted in my case "dedicated" to showing temperatures, drive space, CPU data etc. Does software like that exist for any mobo. I have a DS6. I wouldn't want the TFT to show any information other than information and stay that way, regardless of what I load etc.

You're not going to get that. When it switches into most games it will blank out the screen that is not the primary one. A rare exception is the MS Flight Simulator line which is built to run on multiple monitors.

There is such a program though, it is used by people with built-in monitors in their cases to display info. Heck if I can find it seeing as I've been searching for the name of it since I first saw your post.

Do you think a second cheap PCI GFX card dedicated to info would work?

Its more to do with the fact that its a second monitor and therefore a desktop extension than a card incompatibility.
