System Keeps losing Time - Date

Hi all, a friend of mine has a PC where the time and date keeps getting re-set almost every time he reboots
Would I be right in thinking the cmos battery is dead?
If it is do I have to find a specific battery for that motherboard, I guess they are different voltages / sizes?????

Aye, cmos battery is fubar. They are usually CR2032 button cells and you can pick them up from markets, computer or electronic shops.
