System keeps on crashing

I seem to be having an issue with my new build.

Every so often when I exit a game the PC goes extremely slow and the only way for me to shut the machine down is to hold the power button down until it shuts off.

Really frustrating that it runs fine in games, then to have these issues when closing down the game.

COuld it be an SLI issue?

Remove one of the SLI bridges and see what happens.

If you are using Pascal cards don't believe all the hype about the new SLI bridges or using 2 old ones.

If you have not got a new HB SLI bridge just use a single old bridge.

I'll give that a try and then will report back.

Does it matter which one I leave connected?

I've just tested the witcher 3 with the one sli bridge, my frames have gone down 30-33%.

So it must make a difference?
