Wow!

I'm extremely envious. I don't as a rule keep physical copies of games sitting around but for this I would make an exception

It never got released Digitally did it? So I guess legit copies are fairly hard to come across now.

Wonder how hard it would be to get running, fairly easy I guess.

Nope - never released in a digital format but I made an image of my cd years ago, which is still going strong :)

It's quite easy to get running. You should definitely install all the latest graphics, sound and video mods though.

You need to set the game exe to only 1 core affinity on multithreaded CPUs otherwise it randomly locks up. Other than that, works fine on Win7.

It can be a tad temperamental :p. Although I've got it working fine on my current system with windows 7 so, should be doable :D

Oops...took too long editing that last post.

You don't need to mess around with affinity or anything else if you use Kolya's SS2 tool.

Absolute bargain well done. They're like gold dust.

I recall the online poll they had a few years back which asked the quesrion; which was better SS2 or Deus Ex - Deus Ex won but in my opinion this has far more replayable value.

it's also worth noting that Deus Ex would not exist in its current form without the menu/inventory system is adopted from SS2.

sadly it made poor sales when released but is now hailed a classic in copyrights limbo...hence bioshock and no direct sequel.

I too am feeling the urge to reinstall....

Yeah, SS2 is in my ATG list. The person(s) you bought that from should be smacked, but great for you! :D

Great game. I just wish the (no_respawn) worked. As suggested, mod the hell out of it. I also have an original, just not boxed. I do have the boxed Deus Ex though.

I'm so jealous. What a steal!

Look at some of the Mods on youtube.

P.s. I'm seeing these on the bay for around £35.
