Thanks for your help

Might be personal preference but since you have opted for the 144hz monitor I assume you play a lot of FPS?

If this is the case maybe look at the 24" version. I have owned the XL2420T and it was a really good monitor but my latest system I got the Asus 27" 144hz and ended up swapping it for Asus VG248HE. This is just purely for gaming though, if you want the bigger screen for other uses then this is irrelevant for you.

thanks for the replies people!

thanks for the CPU cooler recommendations stulid, Ill sub one of these into the order.

I want it primarily for FPS. Im currently using a 26" TV as a display at the moment (my 24" monitor broke) and dont find it too big. Was the concern that you found the 27" screen too big for FPS?!?

This is a much better PSU. The NEX models are a bit meh.

Thanks for the advice, plus the extra juice might be comforting if I want to go sli in the future :)

Yes, it was good for casual gaming but since you opted for a 144hz I thought you might play games like CS:Go and I just find 24" perfect. You don't have to pan the screen like I did on the 27".

One more thing.

Does the BenQ XL2720Z 27" TRUE 144Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor come with a UK 3-pin plug?
