System Upgrade

Basically ugprading most of the system:

That looked like a decent bundle.
But, I also saw this one:

Only an £8 difference but I wondered if one was more worth getting?

Is this ram an overkill? I do plan on overclocking the q6600.

Could someone also please help me choose a case?

I plan on waiting for the 8800 gt on Monday and seeing what that's like. If it's not worth it (doubt this) I'll probably go for 8800 gts.

Would it better to choose some different parts seperately?

You might save a little bit if you bought seperately, get the standard TT120, some 6400 RAM, the board is fine, as is the CPU.

also make sure that you have a PSU that is up to the job.

Also, you think it's worth getting a raptor ? I already have a baracuda 500gig but that's mainly for storage.

The Barracuda's are generally faster then Raptors and Raptors are a waste of money, In my opinion i think that that PSU is a little flimsy.

hard drive wise have a look at the western digital aaks series, or the new seagate 250gb's.

psu should be fine.
