Hi, My system wont boot and I need to test the memory to see if this is the problem. I don't have any spare ddr3 memory apart from some inside my brothers system. His computer is an overclocked bundle bought here from overclockers and I was wondering if it would change his system if i borrowed a stick of ram to see if my memory is the problem.
I'm not into OC'ing so I wouldn't want to mess his system up, so would this effect anything if I borrowed a stick of ram? Or would this result in losing any type of settings?

Any advice will be much appreciated thanks.

If you ddnt turn his on with the missing stick it wouldnt even know, as long as you replace before booting
Even if you do boot his it "shouldnt" effect his clock
