SYY Paste, long term reviews anyone?

I have seen in several places that the SYY 157 or whatever it is paste is meant to be really good.
Then again so is Kryonaut, but a slight mis mount and its terrible, pump out can mean it's maintenance cycle is a pain, oh and if you hit 80c+ it starts failing on you. Can attest to these things with my PS4 Pro, though I have managed to get it to work stably atm.

Anyway, I had to shim my laptop heatsink because it had a strange pad attached to the coldplate face and a "pro" removed it. Personally I have no idea if you should just apply paste over that pad or remove it to paste. I digress, the guy balls'd up big time and I had to do it myself and void warranty anyway. Boo, hiss.
I found without that pad I had bugger all mounting pressure and I have had to shim it (0.5mm) and now it actually seems to work better.

Has anyone used SYY long term on any device and can give a decent review of performance?
Up to now I haven't had any issues, though the 5800H in my laptop does like to get hot anyway.

Good luck if you buy some, I brought some from the rainforest, it might be 15wmk or whatever it is, but try spreading it, good luck on that, and they don't recommend the pea in the middle of the IHS, they recommend spreading and covering the whole IHS, some of the reviews and pictures on the rainforest will show you exactly what I'm talking about, I can't imagine it's great anyway, it's very cheap, a tiny 1g tube of kryonaught is more expensive than a 3.5g tube of SYY.

Honestly, I had no problem spreading it, just needs working a little.
Typical thing with certain reviews on rainforest. Some sing it's praises, others slat it, but you can find that with most pastes so it's pretty hard to find an accurate review.
It has appeared in several YT reviews and seems to do really well, but for how long is the question.

Had SYY on my 3090 for 6 months, no issues, fantastic temperatures. Had it on my 11900k for even longer, no issues and great temperatures. Also on my 12900k, though only for a month or so.

Fantastic paste and much cheaper than poorer performing alternatives.

Any issues with pump out or anything @Dave2150 ?

Im currently using it in my laptop, temps have risen, but that could be cause the K5 pro on the VRMs allowing more heat to come back since its on a shared heatpipe
