Anyone going?

7 of us from Stoke coming up. was going to do leeds but line up was rubbish and T's line up is looking better. Fair enough there is still some garbage on (most festivals are going more pop orientated) but it has a good mixture of genres
We are camping thursday and sunday can not wait! This is the line up

Realy looking forward to Eminem:D

I'll be heading up on the thursday, mostly want to see Editors/Prodigy/Kasabian/The Cris though looking at the line up i think it looks better than last year. (headliners are a bit meh but it's all the other stages :p)

Thought about going but lineup is pretty poor and I'm hearing Rockness is 'the' Scottish festival nowadays..

I'd only want to see: Jamie T, Sunshine Underground, Groove Armada and Frightened Rabbit.

I urge you all to check out Frightened Rabbit as they are immense.
Have a great time.

Ive been the last 4 years , surprised kings of leon aint at it this year , seen them there the last 4 years running ,
I was at rockness earlier this month which i find is a much better festival due too no main stage barrier so if you wanna go down the front you can ,

also much easier too find your way around the campsite since theres only half the crowd t has

(they have made an iphone app now they sold at rockness that works via gps too locate your tent ) ,

Rockness was a better line up as well i thought with fatboy, 2many djs, aphex twin ,bookashade, dan le sac , green velvet and the strokes :D

definetly consediring going up if i can get a ticket at a reasonable price, its crazy prices this year , my sisters boyfreind spent 360 pounds on a campervan car parking ticket last night which didnt even have festival access included , the tickets are roughly 240 on ebay which is steep , rockness was much more reasoanable at 160 face value and it never sells out which is even more ideal since titp sells out within mins of goin online

defo gonna go up for sunday for kasabian and guetta I might go for the full weekend though if i can get a ticket sorted at a decent price :)

Going to T again this year as usually go but I do prefer Rockness now. It's not as big but is a much better festival. I prefer the atmosphere at Rockness and the line up. Rockness is a much more dance orientated festival

Will be going to T as usual this year. Not all that excited by some of the main headliners but there are plenty other gems around the tents - mumford and sons, frightened rabbit and bombay bicycle club are a few I haven't caught live yet and am looking forward to seeing.

The Rockness/T debate has been growing over the last couple of years. Definitely the atmosphere and security is a lot more relaxed at Rockness which makes it arguably a nicer and more chilled out festival. The flip side is the line-up doesn't have as much depth to it. Personally I go to Rockness to see the few bands/djs I want to see and spend the rest of the time lazing around drinking or going to see some unknown acts. T is more about the music for me in the sense that I'll head into the main arena asap from the campsite to watch music all day instead of all the lazing around at Rockness.

Both excellent but in slightly different ways.
