Plus winmo is pretty much an abandoned platform.

Although I agree the handset is more aesthetically pleasing, however even though my handset is brown...I still love it

Wouldnt say its much abandoned...its just that you need to really tinker around with it to get the best out of it so unless your the type that likes messing around with ROMS etc id stay away from Winmo...standard wise Winmo sucks eggs.

Whereas Android just works out of the box without much tinkering to do but you have the ability to tinker as well with it....so its the best of both worlds really with Android.

You can upgrade to pretty much anything as long as it's on a standard tariff. Just pop into a store as they can do exactly the same deals as they can over the phone. If you're near Bath then go there as I work there

Btw, just to let you all know, the HTC desire has been delayed due to some kind of ROM issue, won't be getting it now for at least another 2 weeks. Should have the X10 in stores by the coming friday though

Is that with T-Mobile's custom ROM? There are people on this forum who have received an unbranded phone direct from T-Mobile already I believe.
