I keep reading about this, that you can get 3gb free data if you are on an android smartphone on t-mobile, freeing up your booster for something else? I'm paying extra for unlimited texts at the mo and a fiver saving each month would be ace.

Is this correct, and what do I have to say to them?

It's true.

I'm on t-mobile, 600 mins, 500 texts, unlimited internet (with 3gb fair usage thingy) AND a booster, which i've used to give me unlimited texts. £20 a month.

If it's wasn't an android phone I'd have 600 mins, 500 texts and i'd have to use the booster to give me unlimited internet.

I did basically the same thing and now my booster is free'd up for unlimited txt.

I'm still getting stonewalled when asking about this, nearly thought I had it done until the last line of "..so that will be £5 a month Sir"!

Did you guys got through Customer Services on 150, account questions, discuss your account with an operator? Can't remember sequence.

Those with t-mobile Desires, what's the branding like? Phone unlocked?

I'll probably be doing this in the next couple of weeks. :)

Its minimal,...i had one but sold it and the only branding it had on it was the boot up screen and the internet icon which had wnw logo...other than no other tmobile branding software or hardware wise.

The phone isnt unlocked, they come locked to tmobile.

Not strictly true. T Mobile Desires have the volume turned right down when playing media. Many employees will deny it but do a search and you will find it's the case.

I have learned to live with it over the last few months but it really is a shame as my phone has always been my main mp3 player. It is loud enough to enjoy in a quiet environment but if your in a city centre, next to traffic or on the bus next to roudy chavs then it's an issue.

Other than that.....what he said.

just got my wildfire ordered today and with the contract 300 mins, 300 texts the internet is free and I've got a booster for free calls to landlines :)

from tmobile twitter

"Hi, it was always for T-Mobile customers only, they just recently made it clearer. I'm afraid it would cost extra to add web and walk +"

anyone had any luck?
