Hiya,

I got my phone on yesterday. The MDA Vario II. Got it on Web n Walk for £30 a month.

I have just got a text now saying "Your phone is a aproaching its credit limit. To avoid interuption please call 150 and select option 1 then option 2 to make a payment"

This worries me, any idea what it means? I'm unable to call TMob till I get homne at 7pm

You do know that you can ring them from your mobile phone and you wont be charged...so why not ring them up and ask them.
Highly doubt if anyone here can really help tbh, other than saying to ring them up or perhaps you have been using your phone to such an extent that you have more or less used up all your credit....

I thought maybe someone had a similar experience, afterall I have had this phone a day and been on the internet a lot! But not that much to use my limit of £180 a month!!

I can't ring at the moment due to job I'm in!

Well with webn walk there is no set limit so thats strange...hmm could be glitch in their systems is another reason for it.
Guess you just have to wait till later tonight to sort it out then.

Well registered on T-Mobile now to see my itemised bill. I have £171.66 left, so not sure why I got that message!

Bit apprehensive about contracts now as my "latest bill" is £31.73, and its supposed to be £30! God dammit...I knew this was a bad idea!! I can't see why I've been charged for neither!

Pro Rated, im guessing youve jumped on a bill cycle that has just run, therefore you will have been charged 'x' days (for that bill cycle) then a full month - it should be all in the paperwork you received.

As for the credit - see above, unless youve got a poor credit rating on the system  (been to busy to even see whats bee happening system wise today, might have been a 'glitch')

indeed, automated text as your near your credit limit. Yes you have free allowance, but thats not taken into acocunt, your actual priceplan cost will be.
if you have very poor credit then its likely that you only have a limit of about £60 (this is not meaning you can only use the equivalent of £60 of your flext credit, but overall cost per month).

every customer has a credit limit.
