Not sure if I've ballsed mine up or not on my MDA Pro but web browsing is dog slow, even with changing dns settings. Can I just check I have the right settings:
"Connections > T-Mobile Internet > Manage existing connections"

Then edit "T-Mobile Internet", details are:

Enter a name for the connection:
T-Mobile Internet

Select a modem:
Cellular Line (GPRS,3G)

(Next)

Access point name:
general.t-mobile.co.uk

(Next)

User name:
t-mobile
Password:
****************
Domain:
empty

Advanced TCP/IP:
Use server-assigned IP address
Advanced Servers:
Use server-assigned addresses
I'm loathe to do a hard reset, don't want to lose my existing data/files etc..

Looks right to me..................

Mines always dog slow as well..................I reckon its just the firmware?

password is blank, no password required.
If you do a hard reset and let install all the cab files for T-mobile branding then it will put the gprs settings back

Have you tried enabling the registry hack that allows you to see the extended ROM? All the T-Mobile settings that were installed when you first booted up the device are located in here as *.cab files. Might be one of those.

What's the hack, please?

or get a copy of Total Commander. That will let you browse the extended ROM section and you can pick the cab files you want to install.

Should be a folder in the main window called Extended_ROM. All the T-Mobile *.cab files are in there.:)

IN the path line at the top of TC, enter \Extended_Rom\ That will list the cab files.
