Hi,
Just wondering if anybody has managed to cut down a standard T-Mobile sim card to Micro Sim size?
I have an iPhone 4 on order from Apple, but my sim card has a large gold contact which covers the whole of the width of the card surface.
I have a sim card cutter which i have tested on an o2 sim, and it works perfectly as the gold contact is a lot smaller. Doing this on my T-Mobile sim would cut into the gold.
My sim card is only 3 months old, so i am wondering if T-Mobile are using this style sim card now to prevent cutting them down.
Although T-Mobile are now selling the iPhone 4, i popped into a shop and asked for a micro sim and they told me to phone customer services. I have done this and they say they have none in stock even though they are selling the iPhone 4......
Has anybody had any joy in either a) cutting one of these larger sim's down, or b) successfully managed to get a replacement from a T-Mobile store/customer services.
Thanks
