T-Mobile Rapport

My dads wanted a new phone for a while now and I've seen the T-Mobile Rapport. It's a basic android phone on 2.2 but can be upgraded to 2.3 and it seems perfect for a man his age.

Has anyone here had experience with one before?

It's just a carrier branded Huawei U8180. Don't expect much.

For my Dad it really should be fine though. I'm wondering is their anyway I could unlock it as tmobile PAYG seems awful.

a far better phone would be the Samsung Galaxy Ace, better built, better quality and better performance, it does not support flash, but thats just about its only flaw imho

It's alright. For the money there really isn't anything better. If he's on t-mobile PAYG already though then he could pick up the Galaxy mini on PAYG upgrade for £84.99 as that's the better alternative.

I ordered the Rapport, will be looking to getting it unlocked. Seems to cost about £10 from what I've seen online although their is a website that I've come across that will do it for 2 Euros, you just have to do the unlocking process yourself.
