Have an N95 at the moment and am due a mobile phone upgrade on the fifteenth, and i assume with the contract i am on i can take whatever i want from their range.

Tempted by the G1, but with all the other random smart phones around, lots could tempt me, the c905 is also on the list..

Really tough decision!

Aye, that is true... although i'm not too sure on the look of it, haha :-)

Actually looking at the blackberry curve at the moment, might be a bit big though

I want a blackberry storm, sadly they dont offer it :(

Vodafone only IIRC

I'm in the same position - mine is up next week. Got a K850 and the new Sony's seem like a minor facelift so there's little point. Don't particularly fancy a G1 as a friend has one and it's badly built and feels like a prototype IMO. OS has a lot of potential however. Once HTC get the WM design team on the job v2 should be a lot better...

My contract actually expires in april, yet they offer the upgrade now... as stupid a question as this will be, does that mean my i will have the next phone for 21 months? i.e. 18 + the 3 left?

I think i'm going to go with the G1, i would have gone for the touch HD but i get really horrible reception on orange, and staying on t-mobile just seems my best option.

Having had a £35/mo contract for the last 15 months, what are my chances of getting the next contract for 12, and perhaps increasing the price? The G1 is a cheaper phone than the N95 was back in the day

I can't decide between the G1 and the Omnia and the more I read about both of them they both have their own set of problems.

The G1's battery is ment to be reeally really bad.

Ermmm why not have a look at the 8900 curve...much smaller and lighter and thinner than the Bold and the Curve that it replaces. Awesome unit and is a joy to type, had a play with one last week and was very impressed with it. Only killer for me was the lack of 3G :(...i have a Bold but my upgrade is coming up next week as well so i might pick up a tmobile branded Bold...unlock and shove it on ebay and make some money out of it as i already have an unlocked, unbranded Bold that im using.
