I am on an 18 month contract which ends at the begining of June, but I have been told I can get an upgrade from today.

I am aware that it will probably just be rubbish, but I wanted to have a look at the options since my n95 is on its last legs.

However when I log in to My Tmobile the upgrade section has gone, have they stopped doing the early upgrades? I would call them but I'm a bit ill at the moment and can't really hear that well (plus the n95 is not loud enough anyway).

Edit: if I go to the upgrades bit from the drop down box in the menu bar I get an Error 404.

It's always a bit patchy for me to look at the upgrades.

I was eligible for an upgrade in Feb in month 15 of the 18, but talking to the upgrades department they said on an early one they can only offer up to £150 off the price of a handset, so you need to stump up some cash for a decent phone or your stuck with the carp ones. If you wait until the last month you are eligible for much more of a discount and depending on how they rate you as a customer, you might not have to pay at all. I'm probably going to get the Vario IV next month as that'll be free :)

Right, the upgrades bit is working and I have been offered the following for free:
LG Secret
Nokia 2610 Black
Nokia 3109
Nokia 5000
Nokia 5310
Nokia 5800
Nokia 6300
Nokia 6500 Slide
Nokia 6600 Slide
Nokia E71
Samsung C180
Samsung E250
Samsung G600
Samsung Pixon (M8800)
Samsung Tocco (F480)
Samsung U600
Samsung U800
Samsung Soul (U900)
Sony Ericsson C902
Sony Ericsson W350i
Sony Ericsson W595
T-Mobile G1 Black
T-Mobile MDA Compact IV
T-Mobile Touch Plus

Would you get any of those or should I wait (although my phone is playing up)?

The Nokia E71 is a pretty decent phone as well..my bro has one and its not a bad device.

Wouldnt touch any of the MDA phones...mainly due to the fact that they run Windows mobile which frankly sucks when it comes to mobile phone operating systems.

I disagree, it has it's flaws but there's loads of customizing that can be done which can make it far better. Out the box though I think it's kinda crappy.
