... Ok guys I've got a weird problem with my internet connection on my phone. I'm using an N95 with web and walk and I can access MSN on the Nokia S60 Live application, but when I hook it up to my PC messenger on the PC wouldn't work ...

Skype works fine and so doesn't normal branding so what's popping?

I think T-Mobile block the ports Messenger on the PC requires. If you want to use Messenger, you have to upgrade to a more expensive Web n Walk tariff.

I know I always suggest this but if the worst comes to the worst and you cant get MSN live working on it - install Fring, with that you can use Skype and MSN.:)

Thats a realy shame :(, how about stopping t-mobile of compressing my images so they actually appear the way they should?

what are the response times and speeds like on t-mobile web n walk?
AMD

Depends very much on the type of signal, signal strength and handset you have. When I'm in a 3G area with a full signal it's very good. It's acceptable on GPRS, think dial-up speed :). I haven't experienced WnW over HSDPA yet so I can't comment on this. This is with a T-Mobile Vario 2 (WM6 Black Satin flash)

Over HSDPA its very fast, my n95 absolutely screams at that speed..one thing i cant fault tmobile for is their 3g coverage...its spot on.

I have absolutely no problems accessing MSN live/messenger on my phone...works a treat but then i am paying £10 a month for the wnw tarriff.

Where abouts are you based? I'm based in Greater London and receive a 3G signal at most, no HSDPA :(. It's enabled on my phone and account.

Based in East london and i easily get 3.5g icon on my n95 screen...also when im at my office in the Docklands ill get 3.5g rather than 3g.

Interesting, I'm in Birmingham now (Aston uni) and I only get 3G how do I get the 3.5?

Also doesn't the image compression bother you guys at all?

Lastly, I simply think my MSN is bugged ~.~ works randomly ...

If you haven't updated your firmware you only ever see 3G on the screen, although the phone still connects at 3.5G (HSDPA) speeds, you just aren't shown on screen. If you install the latest firmware update then you should see 3.5G. If you've installed it and you don't see it then you probably don't have HSDPA coverage where you are.

To be honest when I'm using my phone I'd much rather it were usable and responsive than has perfect image reproduction!
