Is it possible to get a tablet that i can use my giffgaff sim in in the night to go on net and also pop into my phone in the day.

Looking for cheapest way to have internet as divorce looming!

I dont use a landline phone. Want to keep costs down. Ta

I thought they allowed tethering. If they don't plenty of providers do.

Enable the hotspot on your phone and connect the tablet via WiFi or Bluetooth.

How is Giffgaff for data these days? I cancelled them as a backup sim about a year ago as on a good day I was getting 1.2Mbit/s down, 3Mbit/s up and so many timeouts/lag spikes it was pretty much unsusable on 4G in the same spot I could get 50-60Mbit down, 20-25Mbit up on my main Vodafone sim and someone on O2 was managing around 70Mbit down.

Shouldn't the giffgaff speed be the same as using an O2 sim? I assume they're still using the O2 network?

Not sure the details but people say they have to buy a certain amount of capacity not just sharing the network - whatever it is the speeds were appalling and getting worse if it hadn't been for it was a backup sim I'd have cancelled it a year before I did.

If you're only browsing buy one of those three 12gb sims for £23 and use that, lasts 12 months. Saves messing around with sims and tethering and all that lark.
