Really depends on the person though. I was quite tempted by the 10inch tablet on ocuk for 199.

Bugs and idiosyncrasies are kept to a minimum due to the rigid limits Apple put on what you can or can't do. Intuitive interface. Ideal for the less mentally flexible older person. More expensive though.
